Pastor Kelvin continues our journey through the Gospel of Mark by teaching from Mark 3:1–19, where Jesus confronts hardened hearts, heals boldly, and reveals His authority.

In the synagogue, Jesus heals a man with a withered hand—but instead of celebrating, the Pharisees begin plotting His destruction. In a moment that exposes the condition of their hearts, Jesus shows that doing good will often provoke those committed to religion over truth.
As the crowds grow, people press in from every direction—desperate for healing, freedom, and hope. Even the unclean spirits recognize who He is, declaring His identity before others fully understand.

Then, Jesus withdraws and appoints the twelve disciples—calling ordinary men into an extraordinary mission: to be with Him, to preach, and to carry His authority.

This passage reveals both the power of Jesus and the cost of following Him.
In this message, we learn:
• Why doing good can still lead to opposition
• The danger of hardened, religious hearts
• What it means that Jesus has true authority
• Why being with Jesus comes before doing for Him
Jesus is not just a healer—He is Lord. And following Him will always require something of us.
